i got a self-assembled one wor...bringing it down to the guy to take a look after work today.
oh i see. then it is expected to spoil very soon coz that's what happened to a few of my friend's self-assembled pc from sim lim..
no i dun expect it to spoil very soon. It turned out to be a small problem, only the graphics card is spoilt which my friend's cousin will replace for me FOC. (I din get frm Sim Lim) My pc is usable by switching to the graphics card on the motherboard.
Anyway i still think DIY is better than branded ones cos u can just replace/upgrade watever parts. And he can accommodate my timing rather than strict office hours for big name companies. Most of my friends recommend DIY PCs.
No leh, Acer allows us to upgrade the graphics cards, RAM, etc on our own even though the pc is still under warranty. :)
i upgraded the graphics card last Dec by buying it from Sim Lim. Guessed what? It was spoilt within 7 days! haha.. luckily it was under warranty so we got a replacement.
i c...but i still think self-assembled is better lor...for now! haha
