Weekend

Watched "我左眼見到鬼" (My Left Eye Sees Ghosts) and "自梳" (Intimates) in one morning. It's not the first time I'm watching them, but still feel like crying at certain parts...oops...

The former is my favourite Sammi movie. Although the title sounds a bit silly, it is actually a rather touching story with an unexpected twist in the plot. Although many fans seem to like Sammi with Andy Lau or Louis Koo, I thought she and Sean Lau also make a nice screen couple. Helps that his acting is very good!

I think that the latter is a very well-made film. It tells of the stories of two generations varying greatly in values and morals, but transitions between the past and present scenes are very smooth. I like it quite a lot more than "Butterfly" actually, much more subtle but yet beautiful...

KTV session at JB Neway was great! They already have "汽水樽裡的咖啡" and "禁色"! As usual, we did lots of hocc and Sammi songs. Fran and ww were so funny singing Britney songs and I didn't realise Irish could rap so well! And the more I listen the more I think caocao's voice sounds like Candy! We had dinner and a nice chat at some 'zi-char' place recommended by ww, and she gave us all a lift home. Right to the door-step! (so nice...thank u!) Before that though, we were stuck at the customs for nearly two hours! Holidays coming up...what to do...
